Fraunhofer IIS unveils RFID-based platform for Industry 4.0

German research institute Fraunhofer IIS showcases its solutions for RFID, telemetry and intelligent antenna systems that can be used for IoT or the new German initiative Industrie 4.0. The institute shows a technology platform combining RFID with intelligent antenna systems to support the creation of connected product and logistics lines for manufacturing companies. The platform is completely focused on transmitting sensory data and small data packages.
