Free Mobile doubles call allowance for lower-tier customers until end of April

French operator Free Mobile announced that customers subscribing to its lower-tier mobile plan will automatically see their call allowance double from two to four hours of call time until the end of April. This represents the second initiative to help the 5 million customers on the plan during the Covid-19 lockdown. In mid-March, the operator offered a temporary increase in the monthly data allowance (from 50 MB to 1 GB), also valid until the end of April.
