Free Mobile expects to break even with under 10% share

France's fourth mobile network licence winner, Free Mobile, expects to break even with "significant less" than a 10 percent market share, parent company Iliad's CFO, Thomas Reynaud, told Dow Jones Newswires. According to its licence application with telecommunications regulator Arcep, Free expects to attract a 10-15 percent market share between 2015 and 2020. After spending EUR 240 million on its licence, EUR 1 billion on network deployment, plus operating costs, Free Mobile anticipates that it will break even at the operating level at the end of 2014.
