Free Mobile loses appeal against SFR over smartphone blacklist operation

France's highest court of appeal has ruled in favour of SFR in a case brought by rival Free Mobile over a blacklist operation targeting 300,000 smartphones, reports Les Echos. The legal battle started in 2018, after the Iliad subsidiary enforced the GSMA-backed procedure on handsets that had not been returned at the end of the rental period.
