Free sues Numericable for calling FttB 'fibre' - report

Tuesday 3 November 2015 | 13:59 CET | News
French telecom operator Free brought a filed a complaint in the commercial court against Numericable-SFR for misleading advertising by marketing its broadband service as 'fibre', reports L'Express. While Numericable-SFR's network brings fibre to the building, it often then connects apartments with co-ax cable. Free and Orange, on the other hand, install fibre inside the building to deliver FttH to every apartment. Iliad and Numericable-SFR refused to comment on the matter.
