Free to be present on Axione RIP networks in coming quarters

Thursday 22 June 2017 | 11:01 CET | News
First revealed in November, the negotiations between Free and Axione have led to an agreement which will see Free commercialise its FTTH offers over the public initiative networks, known as RIP ('Reseaux d'Initiative Publique'), run by Axione. The launch, expected in the coming quarters, will enable Free to expand over the years its marketable footprint across the eighteen French departments where Axione has committed to bring fibre access to 2 million premises, as part of France's national broadband strategy for less densely populated areas.
