Freenet confirms plans to upgrade DTT service in autumn

Freenet TV has confirmed the schedule for upgrading its service in largest parts of western Germany, including Baden-Wuerttemberg, Hesse, Lower Saxony, North Rhine-Westphalia, Rhineland-Palatinate, Saarland and Saxony-Anhalt. The company is rolling out HD channels on the digital terrestrial service in these areas, as the public broadcasters upgrade to DVB-T2 from DVB-T.
