Freenet warns of gaps in 3G, 4G mobile coverage

German operator Freenet warned of increasing gaps in mobile coverage, reports Frankfurter Allgemeinen Zeitung. In particular, the most affected are customers without access to LTE, who have to rely on an outdated 3G network, which is being dismantled by operators, Freenet's CCO Rickmann von Platen said to the newspaper.  The LTE network is not available for 60 to 70 percent of Germans although it has been introduced about eight years ago, Von Platen added.
