Freeview targets Virgin Media customers after UKTV channels dropped

The UK's DTT platform Freeview is planning a major advertising campaign to try and capitalise on Virgin Media's dispute with UKTV. Freeview has enjoyed a record spike in interest as Virgin Media customers seek ways to watch channels such as Dave and Drama that have been pulled from the cable operator due to its dispute with UKTV, the Guardian reports.
