An association of 45 French alternative operators have asked the country's competition authority to assess a possible structural separation of telecom incumbent Orange, according to information gathered by L'Express. The operators are part of AOTA (Association des Operateurs Telecoms Alternatifs), which since its creation in March 2017 has been campaigning for a more favourable regulatory environment and the defence of common commercial interests. The association declined to comment on the report.
