French association AOTA joins ECTA to support views of alternative operators

European telecom association ECTA announced that AOTA (Association des Operateurs Telecoms Alternatifs) has joined as a new member, representing nearly 40 alternative operators and regional ISPs in France. Since its creation in March 2017, AOTA has campaigned for issues shared with its existing members, said ECTA, noting the concerns recently raised over EU proposals for telecom regulation reforms, which could harm niche players and fail to address competition problems in the B2B market.
