French business angels' internet investments drops 24% in H2

French business angel investment in the internet declined by 24 percent to a little over EUR 12 million in the second half of 2014 compared to the year-earlier period, according to investment fund ISAI's French Internet Business Angel Money Yardstick report, covered by La Tribune. In all of 2013 a quarter of the EUR 41 million angel investment in startups went to internet and digital products and services. In 2014, angel investment in web startups fell 13 percent to EUR 26 million. ISAI said there were only around 30 equity investments in the second half of 2014, down 29 percent on the second
