French competition officials raid Iliad offices

France's directorate general for competition, consumption and fraud prevention DGCCRF, a division of the finance ministry, has raided the offices of operator Free's parent company Iliad, Les Echos reports. Officials may be seeking documents related to the company's mobile roaming agreement with Orange. The DGCCRF could also be investigating the sale at a loss of Free Mobile's EUR 2 a month subscription plan, which is offered free of charge to existing ADSL customers, and offers 2 hours of calls and unlimited SMS.
