French consumer association wins court ruling against Twitter over T&C clauses

The ruling, which can be appealed against, found that 256 clauses used by the company can be regarded as unfair or unlawful, and cannot be used again. Twitter has also been ordered to pay EUR 30,000 in compensation. The cases brought against Facebook and Google are ongoing, said the association.
