French firms well positioned at MWC - minister

Monday 9 March 2015 | 09:04 CET | News
French companies were well positioned at the Mobile World Congress, especially in the area of mobile service diversification, French digital affairs secretary Axelle Lemaire said at the conclusion of the event. France, which had 184 companies present at MWC, or 10 percent of the total, intends to play an important part in Europe's digital strategy. As at CES, the French pavilion bearing the French Tech label welcomed and promoted over 60 start-ups in Barcelona, thanks to the backing of Business France in their international development. The next French Tech event will be in Austin, TX.
