French frequencies agency puts base station map online

France's national frequencies agency ANFR has launched a public version the www.cartoradio.fr website, featuring a map enabling users to locate every base station in the country. It includes mobile network equipment, TV and radio transmitters, and any other transmitter of over 5 Watts, or over 160,000 in total. The interactive map also provides information on radio emission exposure levels at over 25,500 sites.
