French FTTH-equipped buildings up 14.5% to 38,700 in Q2

France had 38,700 buildings equipped with FTTH and connected to at least one operator's fibre network at the end of June, up 14.5 percent compared with the end of March, according to telecommunications regulator Arcep. These buildings comprised some 910,000 FTTH-eligible homes, a figure up 9 percent in three months and up 40 percent in a year. As of 30 June, the number of ultra-high speed subscribers to a third-party operator on a shared FTTH network stood at 850 out of 83,000 homes in over 600 buildings with shared networks.
