French government names eight new French Tech locations

French digital secretary Axelle Lemaire has announced eight new French Tech label winners. The programme is intended to simulate start-up acceleration in innovative areas, offering access to state investment and support to attend international trade events. There are four new clusters: Brest Tech Plus (including Morlaix, Quimper, Lannion), Normandie French Tech (Rouen, Caen, Le Havre), Lorraine Tech (Metz, Nancy, Thionville, Epinal) and French Tech Cote d'Azur (Nice, Grasse, Cannes, Sophia-Antipolis). In addition, the programme has identified four territories as "Innovation Ecosystems":
