French govt consults on financial rules of 5G spectrum award in Reunion, Mayotte

The award of 5G spectrum in the French overseas departments of Reunion and Mayotte has moved a step closer, as the government published a consultation document detailing how it plans to charge for the different frequencies on offer (700-900 MHz and 3.5 GHz bands). This follows the conclusion of a separate consultation process conducted by national telecom regulator Arcep, detailing how operators could bid for the licences.
