French govt to invest EUR 15 mln to promote start-ups

The French government has authorised EUR 15 million of funds to raise awareness innovative start-ups' and plans to establish a system to attract foreign talent. The announcement reassure start-ups that were becoming concerned that the promised EUR 15 million were under threat from budget cuts, writes La Tribune. France's state secretary for digital, Axelle Lemaire, presented her priorities for a "Digital Republic" to the cabinet. A letter supporting the government's plans was welcomed by various French digital sector industry associations, including ACN, AFDEL, ACSEL, APECA, Aproged, Cap
