France's internet music market grew by 0.6 percent to EUR 125.8 million in 2013, according to music producers' association SNEP. Internet music accounted for 21 percent of the country's overall music market, which expanded by 2.3 percent to EUR 603.2 million. Internet downloads, whose revenue contracted by 1 percent, represented 50 percent of the internet music market last year. Some 40.5 million tracks and 7.3 million albums were downloaded. Streaming, which accounted for 43 percent of the market, saw 4 percent growth. There were 1.4 million streaming music customers at the end of the year.
