French mobile market hit by ongoing slowdown of consumer segment in Q1

Monday 13 May 2019 | 16:52 CET | News
The year-on-year growth rate in French mobile connections slowed for a fourth consecutive quarter, standing at 1.1 percent in the three months to March, according to Arcep's latest statistics. The weaker growth was primarily driven by a slowdown in the consumer segment, while performance remained resilient for B2B postpaid subscriptions. Meanwhile, the M2M market experienced another strong quarter, with connections increasing 22.5 percent year-on-year to 19.2 million (+977,000 quarterly net additions).
