French president, unions back Orange CEO

French president Francois Hollande has expressed confidence in France Telecom-Orange chairman and CEO Stephane Richard, saying he will remain in the post. The government's 27 percent stake in the operator give it three voices on the board. Trade unions are also backing Richard, whose future will be put up for a vote by the board this afternoon. Les Echos writes that he is likely to stay put.
