French regulator approves plan to redistribute 900/1800/2100 MHz spectrum

Thursday 2 August 2018 | 15:18 CET | News
French regulator Arcep issued a decision detailing the procedure agreed with the government for attributing 900/1800/2100 MHz spectrum once the current licences expire. Alongside this document, the fifteen responses to the consultation on the award, published in April, have been made public. The regulator has also issued four separate decisions updating the current licences held by the country's MNOs to render legally binding the set of mobile quality and availability commitments negotiated as part of the so-called 'New Deal' announced in January.
