French regulator Arcep confirms 900 MHz spectrum distribution in 'New Deal' with operators

Friday 16 November 2018 | 11:13 CET | News
French telecom authority Arcep has adopted the final version of the reallocation of 900/1800/2100 MHz spectrum announced in October, as part of the so-called 'New Deal' agreed by network operators with the government. This follows a short consultation on the 900 MHz award for the period starting in March 2021. As planned, the regulator and the four market players worked out the final spectrum distribution in this band, confirming what had been announced in October for the period ending in December 2024.
