French residents' association slams Numericable, Free

French apartment residents' committee presidents' association Unarc has criticised the "catastrophic situation of fibre deployment in France", Challenges reports. Citing regulator Arcep figures, the group's president, Fernand Champavier, told the magazine that only 1.08 million of France's 25 million homes are passed by fibre and only 115,000 have taken up FTTH. This places the country 22nd out of 26, according to FTTH Council.
