French spectrum agency collaborates in beyond-5G project led by Siradel

Friday 2 March 2018 | 08:59 CET | News
Spectrum agency ANFR will bring its expertise to a research project led by Engie subsidiary Siradel, looking at how to improve spectrum efficiency in beyond-5G communication systems. Named BRAVE, the two-year project received financial support from the French National Research Agency in mid-2017 and is scheduled for completion in 2020. Its main focus will be an assessment of how to achieve the best performance from spectrum in the 90-200 GHz band, targeting Terabit speeds and low power consumption.
