French spectrum agency finds eight phones in breach of RF exposure limits during H1

Monday 30 September 2019 | 12:50 CET | News
French spectrum agency ANFR has published a summary of the RF (radio frequency) exposure checks carried out in the first half of the year. Out of 46 phones analysed, seven models were found to be in breach of the SAR (specific absorption rate) limit set for the trunk body region, while one failed the test for the head body region. The agency said that six of them received automatic updates to reduce the power of the device and comply with the current regulatory limit (2 W/kg).
