French Tech launches nine thematic networks

French economy minister Emmanuel Macron and secretary of state for digital affairs Axelle Lemaire announced the launch of nine thematic networks within the French Tech scheme, reports Reuters. Macron indicated that, from the first half of 2017, the government would announce calls for proposal for each of the new thematic networks, including, among others, Health and Internet of Things. First launched by the government in November 2013, French Tech aims to promote digital start-ups and support them at the various stages of their development.
