'French Tech Ticket' launched to attract foreign talent

The French government has launched the "French Tech Ticket", a programme intended to attract talent and start-up entrepreneurs from around the world. Announcing the initiative, digital secretary Axelle Lemaire said that around 100 entrepreneurs and 50 projects will benefit every year. The scheme, which has a EUR 5 million budget for the first year, will offer EUR 12,000 grants per person for six months, renewable once, a place in one of thirteen partner incubators, help in settling in France and a residency permit. Interested parties are invited to apply before the end of September for a move
