Frequentis starts emergency call centre trial ops in Aachen

Austrian high-tech company Frequentis has announced that it is to connect the non-police control centres in North Rhine-Westphalia to BOS digital radio (emergency services). After the first call in the Aachen city region and the Oberberg district, and after having been equipped and tested by various manufacturers in the six pilot control centres in Aachen, Dusseldorf, Hagen, Kerpen, Mettman and the Oberberg district, trial live operations started on 07 September.
