FTTH Council Americas appoints new LatAm president

The Latin American chapter of the FTTH Council Americas has appointed Nelson Saito as president. Saito replaces Gilberto Guitarte. The recently appointed executive is also systems engineering manager for telecom hardware firm Furukawa. Saito was FTTH Council Americas LatAm president in 2009.
