GainSpan Wi-Fi technology powering DoorBot video doorbell

Wi-Fi connectivity provider, GainSpan has announced that its low-power Wi-Fi technology is powering the DoorBot wireless video camera doorbell. DoorBot allows users to see and talk with visitors through their smartphone or tablet from anywhere. The DoorBot doorbell utilises GainSpan's GS1011MEE Wi-Fi module to provide customers with reliable wireless performance and extended battery life. The DoorBot app is available for iOS and Android devices and sends a notification to the user when someone pushes its button, sending audio and video over Wi-Fi to their smartphones.
