Garmin extends contactless payment options with Wirecard's Boon

Garmin will be launching full contactless payments to Garmin Pay customers in Europe, after signing a cooperation deal with Wirecard. Customers will be able to pay via Wirecard's boon at the point of sale. Users in France, Italy, Ireland, Spain, Switzerland, and the UK can now add their digital boon cards to Garmin Pay and make secure purchases with their Garmin vívoactive 3 or Garmin Forerunner 645 smartwatches anywhere Mastercard Contactless is accepted. Garmin entered the payments market in September with the vivoactive 3 smartwatch.
