Garmin to offer customised smartwatch for Mercedes drivers

Tuesday 8 January 2019 | 15:19 CET | News
Garmin started a collaboration with German carmaker Daimler to equip Mercedes-Benz vehicles owners with wearable technology.  The Garmin Vivoactive 3 GPS smartwatch will be connected to the Mercedes me mobile application in order to monitor the stress level and heart rata of a Mercedes driver. The data is sent directly from the Vivoactive 3 to the Mercedes me-app through the Garmin Health Companion SDK software, which enables real-time biometric data streaming to mobile applications.
