Gartner forecasts Mideast IT spending up 5.2% in 2015

Middle East IT spending is projected to reach USD 214.7 billion in 2015, a 5.2 percent increase from 2014, according to the latest forecast by Gartner. Mideast spending on devices is forecast to reach USD 36 billion in 2015, up 16 percent from 2014. Devices are represented by mobile phones, media tablets, PCs, and printers. Telecom services continues to be the largest segment, accounting for 74 percent of ME IT spending in 2015.
