Gartner sees MENA IT spending rising almost 3% in 2022

Tuesday 23 November 2021 | 16:07 CET | News
IT spending in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region is forecast to total USD 169.88 billion in 2022, an increase of 2.6 percent from 2021, according to a recent forecast by Gartner. The report says the recovery of the IT sector in MENA will continue in 2022, adding that digital transformation projects will advance moderately from 2021. The rapid shift of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries from an oil-exporting economy to a knowledge-based one will be a major influence.
