GCC mobile phone shipments fall by 16% in Q1

Thursday 11 June 2020 | 10:17 CET | News
Overall mobile phone shipments to the countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) declined 16.0 percent quarter on quarter (QoQ) in Q1 to 5 5 million units, according to the latest report from the International Data Corporation (IDC). The decline in feature phones comes as telecom firms in several GCC countries stop supporting the 2G spectrum.
