GCC mobile phone shipments grow 11.5% year on year in Q2, up 8.0% from Q1

The mobile phone market of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) had unit sales growth of 11.5 percent in Q2 2019, with shipments totaling 6.5 million devices worth USD 1.7 billion, according to the International Data Corporation (IDC). Quarter on quarter (QoQ), shipments were up 8.0 percent, continuing the growth seen in Q 1.
