GCI launches upgraded cloud-based managed video conferencing

GCI, a US operator based in Alaska, made significant upgrades to its GCI Managed Video Conferencing platform. Customers can now virtually collaborate using a desktop, laptop, tablet or mobile device without being tethered to conference room hardware. GCI's cloud-based service will allow customers to connect without the restrictions of room-based video conferencing hardware. Users can still enjoy the benefits of HD video, screen sharing and customer support. GCI's upgraded service has a pay-per-use option.
