GCT Semiconductor powers new Huawei LTE home modem

GCT Semiconductor, a designer and supplier of advanced 4G mobile semiconductor products, announced that its LTE-Advanced (LTE-A) GDM7243Q chip featuring 4X4 multiple-input multiple-output (Mimo) antenna technology powers Huawei's 4X4 Mimo B5328 LTE home modem for Jilin Mobile, a subsidiary of China Mobile. Recently announced by Huawei, the B5328 LTE home modem (LTE CPE) will be first used on Jilin Mobile's new 4X4 Mimo TDD LTE network and is described as the industry's first commercial indoor LTE home modem supporting 4X4 Mimo LTE-A.
