Gemalto confirms full-year targets as revenues drop 3% in Q3

Gemalto has reported revenues of EUR 727 million for the three months to September. Growth moved into negative territory at -3 percent year-on-year (based on constant exchange rates), from the 5 percent growth rate posted in the previous quarter. This reflected the expected contraction in Identity, IoT & Cybersecurity revenues, which dipped 1 percent to EUR 345 million (+16% in Q2). The revenue trend at the IoT business remains very positive, said the company, adding that it continues to anticipate an uplift in Identity and Cybersecurity revenues during the fourth quarter, when large projects
