Gemalto revenue broadly stable at EUR 1.5 bln in H1

Gemalto posted EUR 1.5 billion of revenue in the six months to June, broadly stable year-on-year (up by 1 percent when adjusted for constant exchange rates). Revenue in the second quarter stood at EUR 804 million (down 1 percent unadjusted but up 3 percent at constant exchange rates). The ongoing positive performance in the Americas offset a drop in EMEA revenue in the second quarter, while the revenue trend improved in Asia. Overall, the adjusted profit from operations increased to EUR 172 million in the six months to June from EUR 160 million a year earlier, representing an 11.5 percent
