Geoidtel deploys VSAT technology in Nigeria

US-based Geoidtel has commenced operations in Nigeria, deploying VSAT technology for broadband access. The company said that despite tremendous developments achieved in Nigeria's ICT sector, the level of internet penetration was still low, which had prompted its choice of the Nigerian market. Geoidtel engaged the services of consultants, conducted its own research and gauged the satisfaction level of subscribers to internet in the country before entering the market. The company had already put in place two network operating centres, where issues of requests and complaints would be swiftly
