German agency sees no need for more net neutrality rules

The German Federal Network Agency (Bundesnetzagentur) sees no need to bring in any more regulations to ensure internet neutrality, Heise Online reported, citing Cara Schwarz-Schilling, head of the agency's Internet Economics section. She said competition would ensure any major interventions in data flows by ISPs would soon be repelled.She backed the best-effort principle, under which packets of data are processed in turn without any preferential treatment.
