German antenna owners, satellite operators reach final agreement on VHF transmissions

The agreement is "good news" for the millions of people in Germany who listen to VHF radio broadcasts every day and prevents the regulator from having to intervene in Germany's VHF market, said the BNetzA's president Jochen Homann. While all parties in the negotiations acted responsibly to reach a lasting agreement, German legislators should still check whether an adaption of existing laws could prevent similar cases from arising in the future, said Homann.
