German associations call on govt to guarantee technical access to telecommunication networks

German cable operator association Anga, the digital association Bitkom, the industry group VATM, the association of alternative operators Breko, and the Federal Association of Fibre Optic Access (Buglas) called on the federal and state governments to guarantee the access of technicians to telecommunication, television and radio transmission sites. The associations issued the joint statement following increasing restrictions on freedom of movement imposed in Germany to halt the spread of Covid-19.
