German broadcasting revenue up, profitability down - study

Broadcasting revenue in Germany increased significantly in 2014, but profitability of television and radio decreases, according to the study "Economic situation of broadcasting in Germany 2014/2015" conducted by Goldmedia on behalf of nine state media authorities. Radio and television providers in Germany generated EUR 19.01 billion in turnover in the past year, which is EUR 1.53 billion more than in 2012.
