German business outlook for mid-sized IT firms improves in May - Bitkom

The business outlook among German medium-sized firms in the IT sector improved in May to a negative 11.7 points from a negative 24.3 points, the lowest value since 2006, recorded in April during the coronavirus pandemic, according to the Bitkom-ifo digital index for medium-sized IT companies. Employment expectations have improved since April, too. The index rose by 7.2 points to a negative 2.1 points. Price expectations also increased by 1.5 points in May compared to the previous month.
