German companies expect lower costs due to Industry 4.0

Almost half (47%) of industrial companies using Industry 4.0 applications or planning to use them expect lower costs as a result, according to a recent survey conducted among 400 companies with at least 100 employees from the automobile sector, mechanical engineering, the chemical industry and the electrical industry, on behalf of IT association Bitkom.
